CNY peak covers the eve and the 15 days of the new year. Days 1 to 3 carry the highest demand. All prices in Singapore dollars.
What Affects Your Final Price
- Date and time. CNY days 1 to 3 and weekend mornings cost the most. Weekday non-peak dates cost the least.
- Routine complexity. Floor routines cost less than jong (pole) acrobatics, which need extra equipment and our senior performers.
- Number of lions. Each additional lion adds roughly SGD 400 to 500 including its two performers.
- Venue logistics. Standard venues are included. Unusual access, long loading routes or island venues may add a small stated fee.
How to Compare Quotes Between Troupes
Three questions expose the difference between quotes that look similar. First, is transport included, or does a 'from' price grow once you give your postal code? Second, how many percussionists are included, a lion dance with 2 musicians sounds thin, the proper minimum is 4. Third, is the cai qing set included, some troupes quote low and then charge for the greens, the red packets setup guidance and the scroll. Our answer to all three is included, included, included, which is why our quote is one number and not a menu of surcharges.
Also ask when the price locks. Ours locks at deposit: if you book your CNY slot in October, the October price is what you pay in February.
Deposits, Invoices and Corporate Billing
A 50% deposit by PayNow or bank transfer confirms your slot, with the balance due on performance day. Corporate clients get a proper invoice with our UEN for finance processing, and we are used to 30-day payment terms for established companies, just tell us when you book. For multi-event contracts, CNY plus family day plus D&D for example, we quote a bundled annual rate that beats booking piecemeal.

Why do lion dance prices go up during Chinese New Year?
Demand for the first 3 days of CNY exceeds what every troupe in Singapore can supply. Performers also receive festive rates for working during the holiday. Booking before December locks in lower early-bird pricing.
Is transport included in your prices?
Yes. All quotes include transport, props, instruments and performer fees for venues anywhere in mainland Singapore. Sentosa and venues with unusual access requirements may carry a small logistics fee, stated upfront.
Do you charge a deposit?
Yes, 50% confirms the booking and the balance is due on performance day. We accept PayNow and bank transfer, and can issue invoices for corporate clients.
Are there cheaper weekday rates?
Yes. Weekday non-peak performances outside the CNY period are our lowest rates. If your date is flexible, a Tuesday morning opening costs meaningfully less than a Saturday one.
What add-ons cost extra?
Popular add-ons include the God of Fortune walkabout from SGD 288, firecracker sound effects, LED lions for night events, jong towers for acrobatic routines, and additional lions at around SGD 400 to 500 each.
